Parish church, Rüstorf
The Roman Catholic parish church Rüstorf is located in the village of Rüstorf in the municipality of Rüstorf in the Vöcklabruck district in Upper Austria . The church, consecrated in the name of Mary , belongs to the Schwanenstadt dean's office in the Linz diocese . The church and the cemetery are under monument protection .
history
As early as 1348, there was probably a branch church of Schwanenstadt in Rustorf. In 1784, as part of the Josephine church reform , Rustorf was raised to an independent parish and thus the branch church to a parish church.
The Gothic church was built around 1520. In the 18th century the church was furnished in the baroque style (high altar and Antonius altar). In the middle of the 19th century the Anna altar opposite the Antonius altar was erected.
architecture
The late Gothic two-aisled, three-bay, almost square nave of a hall church with sloping eastern corners has ribbed vaults with different network configurations, in the south aisle with opposing triangular yokes. The grooved octagonal pillars stand in the window axes. The retracted three-bay, ribbed, vaulted choir closes with a three-eighth closure . The four-axis broken west gallery with an opposing net rib vault has a tracery parapet.
Furnishing
The mighty high altar around 1730 bears remarkable statues.
