history

A church was mentioned in a document from 1096 to 1105. 1528 was a church consecration.

architecture

The late Gothic church building from the early 16th century was renewed in 1862 and at the same time supplemented with a west tower. The tower has an octagonal upper floor with romanized twin windows and a blinding frieze and has a pointed gable helmet. There are stepped buttresses on the sides of the nave. The choir is built with a barrel-vaulted ossuary.

The three-bay groin-vaulted nave with a grooved, pointed Gothic triumphal arch is followed by a choir with a five-eighth end under a decorative ribbed loop vault. The northern sacristy extension from the 19th century is vaulted with groin.

Furnishing

The baroque high altar with the year 1735 with a swinging column architecture bears excellent altar figures Philip, James the Younger, Matthew (?), John the Evangelist, and in the essay Trinity.

The two side altars from 1771/1772 as Marien's and cross altars were created by the sculptor Johann Pacher and the carpenter Leopold Schmidt.

The Gothic font is eight sided.
