The Herz-Jesu-Kirche is a Roman Catholic parish church in Weissenbach an der Triesting in Lower Austria . The parish belongs to the Deanery Pottenstein in the vicariate Unter dem Wienerwald of the Archdiocese of Vienna .

The church was built in the years 1892 to 1893 according to the plans of the architect Ludwig Schöne as a foundation by Adolph Freiherr von Pittel and in 1946 elevated to a parish church. The church was built in the west of the old town center in a slightly elevated position. The neo-Gothic hall church has the presbytery to the south and the tower facade to the north and has a staircase with two sandstone lions from the 18th century, whose apparently already heavily weathered condition was revised with a cement-bound artificial stone mass at a time that can no longer be verified.

The nave has stepped buttresses with pointed arch windows. The oratory attached to the west bears the coat of arms of Baron von Pittel, while the sacristy is attached to the east. The facade tower with a pointed arch portal bears a tympanum relief with symbols of Christ and the Holy Spirit, has a window rosette and a richly articulated pointed helmet. The tiles on the roofs show a diamond pattern and are glazed in different colors.

The cross-vaulted nave with wide belt arches has a wooden organ gallery.

The church square directly in front of the church, a park-like facility from the time it was built, with its mighty linden tree avenue forms a line of sight to the tower facade that functions as a point de vue . With the church standing inseparably linked park in addition to its grove-like shaped main characteristic of large vegetation (lime, maple, Douglas fir) of time typical monuments, such as weather station and founder bust. A topography of the square that rises slightly to the south complements the effect of the sacred building, which is significantly enhanced by the surrounding vegetation: a plateau surrounding the church overcomes the existing differences in level and creates a raised position that is appropriate for the place of worship.

Immediately behind the church, overgrown with regional pine trees, give the ensemble of neo-Gothic architecture and nature additional metaphorical content.

The rectory is at Gartengasse 7.
