history

The association was founded in 1919. In the 1979/80 season, the first men's team qualified for the DFB Cup . In the first main round they met on August 26, 1979 away on 1. FC Pforzheim , where they then lost 10: 2 and thus eliminated from the cup.

Current time

Men's

The first men's team played in the 2003/04 season in the Büdingen district league and at the end of this season finished third in the table with 65 points. For the 2008/09 season, the division then became the regional league. At the end of the 2016/17 season, the club landed only in 15th place with 26 points, which meant that the club had to go into relegation. This one then lost 2-0 at VfR Hainchen and thus had to be relegated to the district league A. The following season was then concluded with 70 points in second place in front of the FCA Gedern , which allowed the club to participate in the relegation again. Here you met VfR Hainchen again, against whom you could win this time with 4: 1 at home and thus return directly to the regional league. But you shouldn't last long here and so after the 2018/19 season it went straight back down with 23 points over 15th place this time. The 2019/20 season, which was prematurely terminated by the COVID-19 pandemic, ended after 18 games due to the quotient rule with 2.17 points above second place and can thus play in the district top division again for the 2020/21 season.

Women

The first women's team plays in the 2009/10 season in the district league A and immediately reached the championship with 37 points. From there it went on to the next season in the district league, which could also be finished with 43 points as champions. For the 2011/12 season, the team was promoted to the Frankfurt group league. There they merged with FC Oberau to form SG Düdelsheim / Oberau and achieved the championship again with 53 points. The 2012/13 season in the Hessen Association League was finally finished again as champions with 60 points. In the 2013/14 season, the SG was then dissolved and the women placed themselves independently with 42 points in third place in the Hessen League. That was the end of the constant ascent. After the 2016/17 season, it went back to the Frankfurt group league with 29 points over ninth place. The team still plays there to this day.
