Phạm Thị Diễm (born January 24, 1990 ) is a Vietnamese high jumper .

Athletic career

Phạm Thị Diễm gained her first experience in international competitions in 2011 when she won the bronze medal behind her compatriot Dương Thị Việt Anh and Wanida Boonwan from Thailand at the Southeast Asian Games in Palembang with a jump of 1.87 m . Two years later she finished ninth at the Asian Championships in Pune with 1.81 m and then reached fifth place at the Francophonie Games in Nice with a height of 1.80 m. Then she won at the Southeast Asian Games in Naypyidaw with 1.80 m again the bronze medal behind Dương and Boonwan. In 2014 she took part for the first time in the Asian Games in Incheon , South Korea , where she finished seventh with 1.80 m. The following year she won the silver medal at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore with 1.83 m behind Boonwan from Thailand and in 2019 she won the bronze medal behind Boonwan and Malaysian Yap Sean Yee at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas with 1.78 m .

In 2013 Phạm became Vietnamese high jump champion.
