Phan Thanh Bình (born November 1, 1986 in Lai Vung , Đồng Tháp Province ) is a Vietnamese football player . Bình has been under contract with FC Đồng Tháp since 2003 and is also active in the Vietnamese national team . The striker was in 2006 with Đồng Tháp champions in the second division and rose to the V-League .

In 2007 he represented his country at the Asian Football Championship and reached the quarter-finals with the team trained by the Austrian Alfred Riedl .
