When after a few hours over a thousand users had watched the video, Phanee de Pool knew that she would quit and work on her first album. Phanee de Pool describes her style as slap - a mixture of slam and rap. She appears on stage alone with a looper, guitar and piano.

While working on her first album, Phanee de Pool had her first concert appearance at the Médaille d'or de la chanson 2017 competition in Saignelégier , where she won the audience award.
