Phi 1 Orionis ( φ 1 Orionis , φ 1 Ori , also Khad Prior ) is a star, it is about 0.71 ° away from its companion Phi 2 Orionis (also Khad Posterior ). Khad comes from Arabic , the Arabic name of the two stars is chadd al-dschauza '  /خد الجوزاء / ḫadd al-ǧawzāʾ  / 'cheek of the central'.
