Phil Conley
Phil Conley (actually Philip Ransom Conley; born August 17, 1934 in Madera , California , † March 12, 2014 in Santa Rosa , California) was an American javelin thrower .
At the 1956 Olympics in Melbourne he was tenth, and at the Pan American Games in Chicago in 1959 , he won silver.
In 1956 he became NCAA champion starting at the California Institute of Technology . His personal best of 79.31 m he set on May 9, 1964 in Fresno .
