Philine Velhagen

Philine Velhagen (* 1972 in Hamburg ) is a German theater director .

Philine Velhagen works and lives in Cologne and Munich as a freelance theater and radio play director. After studying theater studies and comparative literature at the LMU in Munich, he worked as an assistant at the Basel Theater. Direction and projects a. a. at the Pathos Transport Theater : Why you cry in the cinema ( 2003/2005 ), How I withdrew into an apple , Judith and Euro , at home alone and Kubelka conspiracy . Muffatwerk Munich ( harvest yourself - freedom 06 ). Short film Luna (1998) a. a. with Martin Sperr ( hunting scenes from Lower Bavaria ), Garage X Theater Petersplatz Vienna, Forum Free Theater Düsseldorf, Drama Cologne, for the Festival Politik im Freie Theater 2008, Theater Festival Spielart 2005, projects in public space in Cologne, Munich and Düsseldorf. Regularly funded by the Munich and Cologne cultural offices. Radio play of the month September 2011: Follow the bill (A production by WDR 2011). Philine Velhagen has been the artistic director of the Drama Cologne group since 2012 .
