Philip B. Kunhardt junior

Philip Bradish Kunhardt Jr. (Born February 5, 1928 in Manhattan ; † March 21, 2006 ) was an American film producer, director and writer.

Kunhardt graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor's degree. After that he worked for Life . His book My Father's House was made into a film in 1975.

His film career began in 1995 as the producer of PT Barnum: America's Greatest Showman . In 2000 he directed the mini documentary series The American President . He was the writer of the television series Freedom: A History of Us (2003).

His son is the film producer Philip B. Kunhardt III.
