Philip Stemann
Philip Stemann (* 1976 in Stade ) is a German theater director.
Life
Philip Stemann first studied Eastern European History, Slavic Studies and Philosophy at the University of Heidelberg , and then studied drama directing at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . From 2001 to 2003 he was a member of the management team of the TIF at the Dresden State Theater , together with Eva J. Heldrich and Marcel Klett . Since then numerous works as a freelance director and author, u. a. at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater in Berlin, at the Wuppertaler Bühnen and at the Theater Bremen. In 2011/12 he was a lecturer in drama at the Vienna Conservatory .
