Philip Teir (2013)

Philip Teir (born August 5, 1980 in Jakobstad ) is a Finnish-Swedish journalist and Swedish-speaking author.

Life

Philip Teir studied philosophy and Scandinavian literature. He has been working as the head of culture for the Swedish-language daily Hufvudstadsbladet since 2009 and works as a writer.

Teir has published poetry and a volume of short stories, Winter War , the title of which refers to the history of Finland in the 20th century, is his first novel. He lives in Helsinki with his family.
