Philip Zeschmann

Philip Zeschmann (* 1967 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( BVB / Free Voters ). Since 2019 he has been a member of the Brandenburg state parliament .

Zeschmann received his doctorate in 2000 on the subject of ways out of the politicians and party disaffection : Democracy for a civil society . In Schöneiche near Berlin , Zeschmann was the chairman of the local SPD association from 2005 to 2008 . In 2008 he was elected for the first time in the Schöneich community council, in which he was SPD parliamentary group chairman until 2009, and the district council in the Oder-Spree district. In 2009 the local parliamentary group of the SPD excluded him. In January 2012, Zeschmann announced his resignation to the Social Democrats. He became chairman of the parliamentary group of independent citizens of Schöneiche in the community council of Schöneiche in 2014. In 2015 he took over the chairmanship of the BVB / Free Voters in the Oder-Spree district council .

Zeschmann was in the state elections in Brandenburg in 2019 , BVB / Free voters in the list on the 5th Brandenburg parliament elected.
