Philipp Kosta (born September 23, 1991 in Bruneck , South Tyrol ) is an Italian ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with HC Falcons Brixen since 2017 .
Career
Philipp Kosta began his career in the youth department at HC Pustertal . He has been in the first team of his home club since the 2008/09 season and made his first appearances there in the 2012/13 season. With the club's U20, he became Italian junior champion in 2011. In the 2011/12 season he was used in parallel with the farm team SV Kaltern ice hockey from the Italian A2 series. From 2012 to 2014, in addition to his first division appearances for the Val Pusteria, he also played for the lower class HC Meran . He won the Supercoppa with HC Pustertal in 2014/15 .
For the 2017/18 season Kosta moved to HC Falcons Brixen .
International
In the 2014/15 season Kosta was used for the first time in an international match of the Italian men's selection .
