Philipp Mettler

Philipp Mettler (born February 24, 1975 ) is a Swiss conductor, clarinet and saxophone player from the canton of Schwyz . He also plays the piano and bass violin .

At the age of 15 , Philipp Mettler, who grew up in Reichenburg , started his Ländlerkapelle in the concert style of Central Switzerland. Initially he was accompanied on the piano by his father, excavator operator Franz Mettler (born November 27, 1940). Martin Nauer was among his teammates . Initially, the repertoire consisted mainly of compositions by Carlo Brunner , with whom the piano maker Philipp Mettler can look back on many years of teamwork. At times they play in a duet with clarinet or saxophone. He also worked musically with his former partner Maja Brunner . In 2007 he took over the post of bass violinist in the Ländlerkapelle Carlo Brunner.

His recording studio is located in the old factory in Siebnen .
