Martin Nauer

Martin Nauer jun. (Born August 3, 1952 ) is an accordion and Swiss organ player from the Swiss canton of Schwyz . He plays country music .

Life

Musical career until 1975

His father Martin Nauer sen. owned a workshop for Schwyzerörgeli in the canton capital Schwyz . At the age of five, Martin Nauer jun. familiar with the accordion and already mastered the snow waltz and Guete Sunntig mitenant . Sometimes he drove to Meierskappel on his Velotöff (moped) and had accordion virtuoso Walter Grob teach him new skills. In 1971/72 he formed a country band with Thury Horath . In 1972 the conductor Martin Beeler from Einsiedeln was looking for an accordionist and therefore turned to Nauer. The collaboration lasted three years.

In 1975 he attended concerts by the then 20-year-old Kapellmeister Carlo Brunner , with whom Nauer soon formed the "new" Ländlerkapelle Carlo Brunner. Today they are accompanied by Rolf Müller ( piano ) and Philipp Mettler ( bass violin ).

In addition, Martin Nauer also appears as an accordion soloist , partly as part of "his" Ländlerkapelle. One of his specialties are quick polkas composed by Toni Huser .

Professional

Martin Nauer is a trained butcher and now works as an independent accordion tuner in Siebnen .
