Philipp Otto von Gemmingen

Philipp Otto von Gemmingen (* 1571 ; † after 1631) was court master of Duke Friedrich Achilles and later chief bailiff in Miltenberg .

Life

He was a son of Johann von Gemmingen (1549–1599) and Anna Heidin von Hohenburg († 1601). He spent a long time at the court in Neuburg an der Donau and later was a nurse in Lauingen , where he had to give way due to a change of denomination that he did not understand. He then became court master of Duke Friedrich Achilles and, after his death, Obervogt in Miltenberg.

His first marriage was to Appolonia Mörnauerin von Lichtenwerth, and his second marriage to Barbara Roth von Schreckenstein.
