Philipp Samhammer

Philipp Samhammer (born October 7, 1850 in Erlangen , † March 3, 1913 in Sonneberg ) was a doll manufacturer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Samhammer attended the Erlangen Commercial Institute and founded a factory and export business for dolls in Sonneberg in 1872 and a branch in London in 1882 . He was a year-old volunteer and Premier Lieutenant of the Reserve in the Kingdom of Bavaria. He was also a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sonneberg and an honorary member of the commercial association in Sonneberg. He was also a member of the state parliament for Saxony-Meiningen .

From 1890 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach 1 ( Weimar , Apolda ) and the German Liberal Party .
