Philipp von Bickenbach

Philipp von Bickenbach († 1375 ) came from the Franconian noble family of Bickenbach and held important offices in the Teutonic Order .

Philipp was a son of Conrad III. von Bickenbach and his wife Jutta. His sister Adelheid was the abbess of Himmelthal Monastery , where there is also an epitaph of her father. From 1358 to 1361 he was land commander of the Ballei Franken . He then held the office of German master from 1361 to 1375.
