Philippe Auvray

Philippe Auvray (born November 15, 1953 ) is a former French racing car driver .

Career

Philippe Auvray competed in the BPR Global GT Series in the 1990s . After a fifth place in 1994 - together with Girolamo Capra and Giuseppe Quargentan in the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR - at the 1000 km race in Paris , he reached third place overall there in 1995 - again with Quargentan as team partner. In 1999 he contested three races in the FIA GT championship . The best place was 13th in the 500 km race in Zolder .

He failed twice when attempting to qualify for the Le Mans 24-hour race . According to a report in 1994 , which was not followed by participation, the qualifying time was insufficient for a race start in 1995 .
