Philippe Bono

Philippe Bono (born December 26, 1909 in Paris , † January 20, 1986 in Le Vésinet ) was a French cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Bono was French champion in 1932 in the street race of the amateurs , after he had previously become champion in the juniors . In the same year he won some of the most important amateur races, such as Paris – Chauny. He won the Grand Prix Plouay (also Grand Prix Ouest-France or Grand Prix de Plouay Ouest-France, Bretagne Classic - Ouest-France ) ahead of Paul Le Drogo . He won the latter race as an independent and was able to repeat this victory a year later. This time he won ahead of Raymond Louviot . In the following years up to 1936 he was able to win races such as Le Havre – Rouen and Troyes – Paris among the professional drivers .
