Philippe Sanmarco

Philippe Sanmarco (born February 16, 1947 in Ebolowa , Cameroon ) is a French politician. From 1981 to 1993 he was a member of the National Assembly .

Sanmarco is a full-time geography professor. He began his political career as a local politician in Marseille , where the socialist was secretary general of the city from 1978 to 1981. In 1981 he entered both the National Assembly and the Regional Council . He was represented in the regional council until 1986, in the national assembly until 1993. In addition, Sanmarco is involved in various fields in regional politics and is a member or president of numerous organizations for regional development. He is also the author of numerous publications, mostly on local or geopolitical issues. Sanmarco is Vice President of the Communauté urbaine Marseille Provence Métropole .
