Manor Philippshof (2014)

The former manor Philippshof is located in the town of Putlitz in the Prignitz in the state of Brandenburg and once belonged to the noble family of the noble goose of Putlitz . It was founded in the late 16th century by Philipp Gans Noble Herr zu Putlitz. The estate bears his name.

The manor house that still exists today was built in 1895 and was privately owned by the zu Putlitz family until the end of World War II . The property was expropriated as part of the land reform , and the manor house became public property in the GDR after 1949 . In 1995 the building was extensively renovated for around 290,000 euros. It was used as a primary school until summer 2005 and then stood empty. The manor house is listed.

The mansion was auctioned on December 15, 2005.
