Phillips colony

Phillips Kolonie is a residential area in the Kemnitz district of the Hanseatic city of Salzwedel in the Altmark district of Salzwedel in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

The small settlement of Phillips Kolonie Kolonie is five kilometers southwest of Salzwedel on the federal road 71 on the southern edge of a forest area. The approximately 70 meter high Black Mountain is north of the village.

history

The place was created before 1885 under the name of Philip's Colony . The spelling Phillips Colony has been common since around 2003 .
