Phorbas (Argos)

Phorbas , the king of Argos , was the son of Argos or Kriasos in Greek mythology . He had a son Triopas . This succeeded Phorbas on the throne of Argos.

Phorbas as king of Argos belongs to the Argive tradition of the legend of Phorbas , son of Lapithes , and can therefore be identified with him.
