Triopas (Argos)
Triopas ( Greek Τριόπας ), the king of Argos , is the son of Phorbas and Euboea in Greek mythology . His children were Anthus, Iasos , Agenor , Messene , Pelasgos and Xanthos . His son Iasus became king of Argos after him.
In fact, this figure is likely to be a variant of the Thessalian hero Triopas . The legend wandered with the peoples over time and was adapted to the local genealogy in Argolis .
