Photochemical process

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Photochemical processes , including exposure , are a group of manufacturing processes (according to DIN 8580) that belong to the group change material properties . They are based on photochemical processes, i.e. interactions between material and light .

Applications

  • Exposure of the photographic material in analog photography, the process of projecting the light emanating from or reflected by objects onto a light-sensitive layer with the help of an objective and a shutter
  • Exposure in printing, a process in prepress in order to generate a material image structure from the control data after screening
  • the process of creating a latent structure in a photosensitive layer (usually by means of ultraviolet ) in photolithography
