The Pico Sacro ( 490 m ) is a prominent mountain near Boqueixón , Galicia .
The mountain is known for its distinctive shape and a legend about James the Elder . According to this Galician legend, a tomb for the apostle was to be built on the summit. A dragon allegedly lived in a cave in the mountain ; so the construction of the tomb was abandoned.
The Pico Sacro was nominated as a World Heritage Site by Spain in 1995 , but the nomination was withdrawn.
