World Heritage in Spain
The world heritage in Spain (as of 2019) includes 48 UNESCO world heritage sites , including 42 world cultural heritage sites, four world natural heritage sites and two mixed cultural and natural heritage sites. Spain acceded to the World Heritage Convention in 1982, and the first five World Heritage sites were added to the World Heritage List in 1984. The last World Heritage site to date was registered in 2018.
