The Pico del Águila ("Eagle's Point") is a 970 m high mountain on the northern edge of the La Alcarria plateau in the Spanish province of Guadalajara . The mountain is located about 20 km northeast of the 700 m high provincial capital Guadalajara .

The mountain breaks off to the north through a distinctive and widely visible approx. 200 m high steep slope. To the east and west it slopes more gently and wooded into the valley of Valdenoches , which has been a suburb of Guadalajara since 1969.
Ascent
In addition to the steep northern slope, the mountain and its summit can be reached from all directions via forest roads.
