Pier Luigi Faraldo

Pier Luigi Faraldo (born August 13, 1904 in Rome , † after 1952) was an Italian film director .

Life

Faraldo, who comes from a noble family, studied law and then devoted himself to the medium of film. From 1937 he worked for Alessandro Blasetti as an assistant director, in this position also served other directors and directed his first film in 1939, together with the film editor Gino Talamo . During the Second World War , three more directing jobs followed. After the end of the war he only returned to the director's chair once: in 1952, Tragico ritorno was created , with Doris Duranti in the lead role.
