Pierre de Sergines
Pierre de Sergines († probably October 18, 1244 near Gaza ) was a Latin archbishop of Tire in the 13th century.
He came from the lordly family of Sergines ( Yonne department ) and was appointed Archbishop of Tire around 1235. Together with his younger brother Geoffroy , he moved to the Holy Land to take office . There he fought in October 1244 in the battle of La Forbie , after which he was missing. Despite not finding his body, he was pronounced dead. The Bishop of Ramla also fell next to him, while the Patriarch of Jerusalem escaped from the battlefield.
