Pierre de Villebon

The Dolmen Pierre de Villebon (also called Pierre de Beaumont ) is located near the Ozanne River , southwest of the hamlet of Villebon and east of Trizay-lès-Bonneval near Bonneval in the Eure-et-Loir department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

At the end of the road there is a dirt road that leads to a stream. The well-preserved dolmen lies on a horse paddock. Its massive capstone, which rests on several low supporting stones, is around 4.0 square meters.

The dolmen has been classified as a monument historique since 1889 .
