Kristoffer Tabori

Kristoffer Tabori (born August 4, 1952 in Malibu , California as Christopher Donald Siegel ) is an American actor , dubbing and audio book speaker and director .

Life

Christopher Donald Siegel was born in 1952 as the only child from the marriage of actress Viveca Lindfors and director Don Siegel . He has two half-siblings from two previous marriages of his mother. After his parents divorced, his mother married the writer and screenwriter George Tabori in 1954 . Like his half-sister Lena Tabori , he took his family name. After the couple separated in 1972, largely due to George Tabori's increasing theater work in Europe, Lindfors stayed in New York City with her three children .

At the age of six, Kristoffer Tabori made his acting debut at the side of his mother in Morris Engel's romance Weddings and Babies . Occasionally he also worked with his father, for example as an elevator passenger in Coogan's Big Bluff or as a hippie guy in Dirty Harry . Shortly before his mother's death in 1995, he played her son in her last film, Last Summer in the Hamptons .

Kristoffer Tabori completed his education at the New York High School for the Performing Arts and with various acting teachers. From 1966 he appeared in the theater. As a 17-year-old, he received the Theater World Award for his role in How Much How Much? was one of the youngest recipients of this award.

From the 1970s onwards he worked more in film and television productions. From the mid-1980s he also took over directing the first television productions. Occasionally he appeared as a director under the pseudonym KT Donaldson . From the 2000s, Tabori was often active as an audio book speaker and voice actor for video games, the latter in particular for the games from the Star Wars universe produced by LucasArts .

Tabori is a member of the Directors Guild of America and the Directors Guild of Canada .

He lives in British Columbia , Canada . From 1985 to 1989 he was married to the British actress Judy Geeson . The marriage remained childless and ended in divorce.
