The Dolmen Pierre de la Fée (also Pierre aux Fées) is located in Draguignan , on avenue de Montferrat, near the D955 (road) in the Var department of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur in southern France . It has been classified as a Monument historique since 1889 . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

The dolmen consists of a ceiling slab weighing over 20 tons, which rests on three 2.2 m high supporting stones. The ceiling plate measures about five meters in length. The dolmen contained the bones of several people and flint relics and jewelry made of bone and stone.

The dolmen, which dates from the late Neolithic , is said to have played a role in Celtic fertility rites. According to a legend, a fairy is said to have created him to protect a pair of lovers from storm and rain.
