Pietà (labarde)
The Pietà in the Church of St-Martin in Labarde , a French commune in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in the 16th century. In 1971, the Pietà was added to the list of listed objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .
The 90 cm high group of stone sculptures found in the cemetery shows Mary on her knees with the body of Jesus . The colored version was restored during the restoration.
Two coats of arms can be seen at the bottom.
