Pietari Holopainen (born September 26, 1982 ) is a Finnish football player who currently plays for Kuopion PS in the Veikkausliiga . He plays in the position of the defender .
Holopainen began his career in the youth of Kuopion PS . He played his first league game for the professional team in 2001 against FC Jazz Pori . For the 2006 season he moved to the second division Mikkelin Palloilijat , which he left after only one year. Holopainen moved to FC Haka in the Veikkausliiga, where he quickly fought for a regular place. Until his return to KuPS for the 2010 season , he came to a total of 63 games for Haka, in which he scored seven goals.
