Pieter Vink

Pieter Vink (born March 13, 1967 in Noordwijkerhout ) is a Dutch football referee .

Vink was originally a police officer . He has been a FIFA referee since 1994. He conducted his first international match on April 28, 2004 when Switzerland and Slovenia met (2-1). In December 2007 he was nominated as one of 12 referees for the 2008 European Football Championship . His assistants are Adriaan Inia and Hans ten Hoove. He played his first game at the European Championship on June 8th in the group B match between hosts Austria and Croatia in Vienna. On June 14th, he led the game between Sweden and Spain.
