The PinchukArtCentre is a private museum and art center opened in September 2006 in the Ukrainian city ​​of Kiev .

The PinchukArtCentre is an international center for modern art of the 21st century and is considered the most important museum for modern art in Ukraine. It is the first privately financed museum as well as the largest private museum in the former Soviet Union.

The financier and namesake is the Ukrainian oligarch and philanthropist Viktor Pinchuk . The former director of the Kunsthaus Bregenz , Eckhard Schneider , has been the director since October 2008 .

The exterior and interior design of the art center with an exhibition area of ​​over 3000 m² comes from the French architect Philippe Chiambaretta. The ArtCentre is open Tuesday through Sunday from 12 noon to 9 p.m. Admission is free. By October 2014, the PinchukArtCentre, located on Bessarabska Square in central Kiev, had more than 2.1 million visitors.
