Pintao
A pintao (also pintado ) is a straw hat that is traditionally worn in Panama . The hat usually has black or brown patterns, often in the form of stripes, and is woven from fibers from palm leaves , reeds , peach palm and agaves .
In contrast to the internationally known Panama hat , the pintao actually comes from Panama and is mainly produced there.
Depending on the combination in which the brims are worn at the front, back or the sides up or down, the wearer can express different moods or life situations.
