Piotr Tomański

Piotr Tomański (born June 25, 1969 in Przemyśl ) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Piotr Tomański studied economics at the University of Rzeszów and graduated with a diploma . In the early 1990s, he founded Video Tomex 2 . In 1998 Tomański was elected to the Żurawica municipal council and in 2002 became the municipal leader ( wójt ). He ran for the Polish Sejm in the 2005 parliamentary elections for Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej ( Federation of Democratic Left , SLD), but was unsuccessful with 5232 votes. In 2006 he was re-elected as community leader. In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 Piotr Tomański ran again. Before that, he had switched from SLD to Platforma Obywatelska. In the constituency 22  Krosno 11,578 voters voted for him and so he could win a seat in the Sejm.

Piotr Tomański is married and has one son.
