Pistias class
As Pistias class (English Pistias class ) is a class Attic - black-figure v vases of the early 5th century. Chr. Designated. The class is named after the inscription ΠΙΣΤΙΑΣ on a vase in Copenhagen.
The vases are lipless skyphoi , the body of which is in the shape of a masto , but with a foot and bowl handles . The quality of the painting is rated slightly higher than that of many simultaneous and comparable groups and classes, such as the Leafless group and the Haimon group . Relationships exist with the CHC Group .
