The Pizzo Bombögn is 2231  m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Lepontine Alps in the Swiss canton of Ticino .

The mountain lies west of the Maggia Valley on the border between the communities of Campo (Vallemaggia) and Bosco / Gurin .

In 1948, a 300-meter-steep, up to two-meter-high dry stone wall was built at the top 150 meters , which can be seen from afar. The wall was built to prevent goats from grazing on the neighboring slope and to destroy the delicate turf. In 2000 the wall was restored.
