Pyotr Fyodorovich Basmanov
Pyotr Fyodorowitsch Basmanow ( Russian Пётр Фёдорович Басманов ; * around 1568 - † May 17, 1606 ) was a Russian military leader under Tsar Boris Godunow . He was the son of Fyodor Basmanov
( Фёдор Алексеевич Басманов ), a confidante of Ivan the Terrible .
He defended Novhorod-Siversky against the troops of the first pseudo-Dimitri . Later he ran over to the "wrong Dimitri" with whom he was also killed.
