Pyotr Ivanovich Petrovichev

Piotr Ivanovich Petrovichev ( Russian Петр Иванович Петровичев ; born November 24 ^{. Jul} / 6. December 1874 ^greg. In Wyssokowo , † January 4, 1947 in Moscow ) was a Russian landscape painter.

Life

Petrovichev received his first artistic training at the Rostov Museum of Antiquities Churches . He then studied painting, sculpture and architecture at the Moscow University from 1892 to 1903 with Isaak Ilyich Levitan , Valentin Alexandrowitsch Serow and Leonid Ossipowitsch Pasternak . He graduated from the college with a silver medal and the title of "best artist in class" (классного художника).

Petrovichev was a member of the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions and the Union of Russian Artists (from 1911; the exhibitor since 1905). Petrovichev lived and worked in Moscow, where he died on January 4, 1947. He was buried in the Vagankovsky cemetery.

In 1910 he took part in the 38th exhibition of the Union of Traveling Art Exhibitions (Moscow and St. Petersburg ), and in the 7th exhibition of paintings of the Union of Russian Artists .
Petrovichev's first solo exhibition, which was shown from October 7 to November 5, 1917 at the Art Salon on Bolshaya Dmitrovka.

1924: Exhibition of Russian Art in New York .
From 1927 to 1928 he participated in the organization of the new society Association of Realistic Painters , the exhibition that showed his work.
In 1936, Petrovichev took part in the first exhibition of landscape painters in Moscow, where he exhibited 15 paintings.
