The Plac Zbawiciela (German: Erlöser -Platz ) is a square in the Śródmieście district in Warsaw , which was named after the Warsaw Church of the Redeemer .

The southern part of the square with colonnades and arcades was built as a construction section of the MDM residential area in the 1950s according to the design of the architects Stanisław Jankowski , Jan Knothe , Józef Sigalin and Zygmunt Stępiński . Jan Knothe unsuccessfully demanded the demolition of the Church of the Redeemer towers . In the northern part of the square, the three best-preserved houses from the pre-war period have also been preserved. The following streets lead into the circular square:
