Plana Küchenland is a trading company for kitchen furniture with 41 locations in Germany. (As of February 2018)
Organization and locations
The company is organized as a franchise system . It consists of the franchisee's own sales outlets and branches of the franchisor. The 41 locations are mainly to be found in south-west Germany: 14 of them in Baden-Württemberg, 10 in Bavaria, and the remaining houses in the Rhine-Ruhr and Rhine-Main areas. A total of around 440 employees work for the entire system.
The franchisor Plana Küchenland License und Marketing GmbH and the 100% subsidiary KSE IT + Services GmbH offer franchisees services in the fields of marketing and product management, finance , IT services, logistics , organization and merchandise management.
In 2015, the company achieved an annual turnover of 100 million euros .
history
The first house was opened in November 1988 in Weinstadt -Endersbach.
In February 2007, Plana Küchenland was taken over by the 50/50 joint venture "Culinoma Holding " of the Swedish company Nobia and the Dutch De Mandemakers Groep BV . On February 25, 2010 Nobia announced the exit from Culinoma Holding . The De Mandemakers Groep has been the sole owner since March 2010 .
In May 2014, the company was selected as Germany's best kitchen provider in a nationwide study conducted by the Cologne-based management consultant Service Value under the leadership of “Germany Test” in the Focus Money magazine .
Products
The company sells made-to-measure fitted kitchens in the middle and upper segment in Germany .
