Planet Path (Radis)
Beginning of the planet path with information board about Johann Gottfried Galle
The approximately 4 km long Radis planet path was opened in 2016. On a scale of 1: 1 billion, it consists of stone blocks with information boards to the individual planets (not to scale) at the appropriate distance.
The location of the sun is near the former manor house, now a youth hostel. From there it goes along the Johann Gottfried Galle hiking trail to his birthplace at the Pabsthaus . This roughly corresponds to the location of Neptune .
