Azay-le-Ferron is a French commune in the department of Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the canton of Le Blanc and the Arrondissement of Le Blanc . It borders on Charnizay (point of contact) in the north-west, Obterre in the north, Paulnay in the east, Saint-Michel-en-Brenne in the south-east, Martizay in the south and Bossay-sur-Claise in the west . The locality is affected by the Routes nationales 675 and 725 .
